2007 Canadian Kung Fu Challenge

2007 Tournament Successfully Completed
The 2007 Canadian Kung Fu/Open Martial Arts Tournament was run on November 3, 2007 at the Dell Gymnasium (Centenial College) in Toronto, Ontario. A total of 17 different clubs and 134 competitors took part in events which included Traditional Hand and Weapons Forms, Points Sparring and San Shou.
The tournament Grand Champions in various categories were:
Youth Champion: Matthew Volmer - Double Dragon Shaolin Kung Fu
Northern Style Champion: Matthew Lo - All Masters Martial Arts Centre
Southern Style Champion: Chris Stankaitis - All Masters Martial Arts Centre
Karate Champion: Catherine Timpano - School of Martial Arts, Guelph
Congratulations to the Grand Champions and to all competitors in this year's tournament.
